As COVID-19 infection is spreading worldwide, it appears that patients with COVID-19 acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) exhibit a procoagulant profile.
In conjunction with the exaggerated host immune response, this translates into thrombotic disorders such as pulmonary embolism and/or disseminated intravascular coagulation. The haemostasis laboratory thus has a crucial role in the course of COVID-19 patients management.
During this webinar, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the changes induced by COVID-19 infection on hemostasis parameters and how the haemostasis laboratory can help interpret COVID-19 patients coagulation profile for a safe and effective contribution to patient’s care.
